Our Promise: Privacy by Design

Bloomara is built on a simple principle: your pregnancy journey belongs to you. We require no account, collect no email, and store no personal information. Your journal entries, letters to your baby, and mood data are yours alone.

1. Information We Collect

Anonymous Device Identifier

Bloomara uses a randomly generated anonymous identifier to save your data locally and sync it securely. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.

Pregnancy Week

You provide your current pregnancy week so we can personalize your content. This is stored locally and synced anonymously.

Your Content

Journal entries, Memory Capsule letters, mood check-ins, and kick counter sessions are created by you and stored securely. We cannot read your content — it is encrypted and associated only with your anonymous device ID.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

3. How We Use Information

The anonymous device ID and your pregnancy week are used solely to:

  • •Deliver personalized content for your current week
  • •Save and sync your journal entries and letters
  • •Track your kick counter sessions
  • •Enable Premium features if you subscribe

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored both locally on your device and on secure cloud servers. All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL). Your content is encrypted at rest.

We use trusted cloud infrastructure providers with SOC 2 compliance and follow security best practices to protect your information.

5. Third-Party Services

Bloomara uses the following third-party services:

  • •RevenueCat — For managing Premium subscriptions (processes payment through App Store/Google Play)
  • •Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app (no personal data)

6. Your Rights and Controls

Delete Your Data

You can delete all your data at any time from within the app. Go to Settings → Delete All Data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Export Your Data

You can export your journal entries and letters at any time in a readable format.

No Account Lock-In

Because we don't require an account, you're never locked in. Your data moves with your device, and you can delete it whenever you choose.

7. Children's Privacy

Bloomara is designed for adult users (expecting mothers). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The Memory Capsule feature is designed for mothers to write letters to their future children — we do not collect any information from or about those children.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
